The mobile phone has now effectively replaced the traditional fixed line telephone inevery aspect of our daily life.Whether it is in the family, in our work, in school or even in social gatherings, our mobile phone seems to have it all.One aspect why this is so can be gleamed from today’s movies and TV sitcoms.Try to observe any sitcoms that are produced recently.One thing that you would come to notice will be the fact that in cases where either the actor or actress will have to call on a telephone, what they will be using is not anymore the traditional telephone but a more and newer version of it, the mobile phone.

Yeah, this is true, even when the actor or actress is calling from their house, mobile phone is used.You cannot see any more that they will be calling or receive their calls from a fixed telephone line, unless of course, when you are seeing a replayed TV programs of yesteryears.This is how mobile phones has fully penetrated not only the daily aspect of lives of Americans, Japanese or Australians, but almost everybody in the world today.In developed and developing countries where both husband and wife would be working, the use of mobile phones can be very helpful to their daily life.A particular scenario here would be that early in the morning, while both husband and wife together with their son would be preparing for office and school, the husband would take some time off to call on his mobile phone to check on his stock, while the wife would call on her mobile phone to check on the availability of her hairdresser for an after office hour appointment.

When both of them are already on their respective offices, the wife, using her mobile phone, would call her son on her son mobile phone to check on his things and other matters that she might have forgotten to tell her son about.After office hours, the wife again using her mobile phone will call her son on her son’s mobile phone to fetch him from school and would also call her hairdresser mobile phone to confirm that she will be coming over.Near diner time, since the husband has not arrived yet, the wife will call again using her mobile phone to call the mobile phone of her husband to check where he is, since dinner is waiting.Now, since the husband is with his friends enjoying some night clubbing with some lady friends, the husband naturally will put his mobile phone in the off position so that the incoming call of his wife cannot be accepted.Later on, upon arriving at their house, the husband will alleged to his wife that they did some overtime work in the office and he was not able to receive the call of his wife in her mobile phone as his phone was out of power and he was not able to bring along his phone charger.

Of course, this scenario are just made up, but it goes to show that the use of mobile phones is now something that is basically needed by everybody in today’s way of life that the mobile phone is now considered as a necessity rather than as a luxury . By the way, the story is about me, my wife and my son, except the night clubbing part of the story.
